01About the role

SafePlay is more than a game SDK. The wider product needs a dependable control plane for developer organisations, guardian-led Assure workflows, policy configuration and the services that connect those decisions to integrated games.

You will work across frontend and backend boundaries, turning product flows into secure, maintainable software. Typical work includes developer onboarding, organisation and application management, authentication and authorisation, policy APIs, audit trails and guardian-facing experiences.

This is an early product environment, so we value engineers who can make sensible architectural decisions without turning every problem into a platform. Security, privacy and clear user journeys are part of the implementation rather than separate workstreams.

02What you will do

Build SafePlay Assure and developer-portal product flows
Design and implement APIs and backend services for policy and product configuration
Implement secure authentication, authorisation and multi-tenant organisation boundaries
Create clear frontend experiences for developers and guardian-led workflows
Model product data, audit events and operational states in a maintainable way
Integrate the control plane with Guardian SDK and age-assurance provider workflows
Contribute tests, observability and deployment-ready engineering practices

03What we look for

Strong TypeScript and modern web application development experience
Comfort working across React-style frontend and backend/API boundaries
Experience with relational data modelling and production web services
Practical understanding of authentication, authorisation and multi-tenant application design
Ability to turn incomplete product requirements into clear, maintainable implementation
Cloud, identity, security or developer-platform experience is useful
